Make it easier to generate reviews for your business by getting a Google review QR code, which is automatically generated after your business profile has been created and verified.
Follow these steps to get a Google review QR code:
- Sign in to Google
- Click the Ask for reviews button
- Right-click the QR code to save it
- Generate a high resolution QR code
Step #1: Sign in to Google
To get your Google review QR code, you’ll need to sign in to Google with the email that manages the Google Business Profile. You can sign in here: https://www.google.com/business/

Note: If you manage multiple profiles, be sure to select the correct for which you want to get the QR code. Each Google Business Profile will have a unique QR code.
Step #2: Click the Ask for Reviews Button
Once logged in, select the profile (if multiple), and then click the Ask for reviews button.

Step #3: Save the QR Code
Next, you’ll see the corresponding Google review QR code for that profile.

Just right click to save it!
Step #4: Generate a High Resolution QR Code
This is optional, but helpful if you want to print the QR code or even host it digitally. Otherwise, the default resolution for the Google QR code is 132 x 132 pixels, which means it’s generally going to appear “grainy”.
To improve the resolution, just upload QR code to ChatGPT (or other LLM like Claude), along with the following prompt:
Turn the attached Google review QR code into a 1080 x 1080 pixel PNG file, and ensure that the QR code remains intact and otherwise unaltered by the edits to preserve its functionality
Next, you’ll of course want to validate that the new and high res QR code still works, which it should because we’ve tested this dozens of times and it works. HOWEVER, it if you try to have ChatGPT try to generate an SVG file (instead of the PNG file type), it will almost always stall out after generating about 10% of the SVG due to the resource-intensive nature of the process.
As your business starts generating reviews, it’s important to have a response strategy in place (for both negative and positive Google reviews). This can help create additional engagement signals on your business profile, and also serve as a reputation management strategy to address negative reviews should they arise.
